Checking your meter reading

You can check your meter reading yourself and it is advised to do so to help identify leaks.

This is easy to do.

You should first identify where your meter is and that you have the meter key. If you don't have a meter key contact the office for where to get one

Once you open your meter housing you will see a meter like below

Your current reading is at the top in Meters cubed of water. A meter cubed is equal to a 100 litres

The spinner at A should be stopped unless you are currently using water. If it is moving fast it might be a sing of a leak and you should 

We are currently rolling out smart meters which should allow the office to identify possable leeks easer. If a leek is subjected you will be notified via the mobile number we have on file for you. This roll out is expectged to take up to 2 years to complete
